We promised you that 2010 would be the year of fundraising . . . and we weren’t lying, lol. One of our members has created a custom My Little Pony that will make a delightful ornament for an older girls’ bedroom, or for toy collectors in general, with all proceeds from the ebay auction going to the Teenage Cancer Trust (bar postage costs).

The modified Pony is based upon a Scrubs episode in which JD had an illustration of a unicorn on a journal, so it will perhaps appeal to Scrubs fans, too!

You can view details of the auction here.

Go on, take a peek – it’s for a good cause!

And there will be a couple more ponies going up as I make them as well. An Ood and a Weevil.

Thanks for linking that one. Nice surprise to see.

**is highly curious as to what an Ood Pony and Weevil Pony could look like**

And it's lovely of you to do this! It's only right we get it out there a bit.  Grin

And as an extra:

Bill & Nancy, I wish I could say I would part with them but I've got too attached after disasters that happened with Nancy.

**wants a Bill and Nancy of her own**

As to disasters with Nancy....do you mean when you decapitated her?

Not decapitated as such more... scalped by accident. The reason she has a sculpted mane and cotton tail. There were a few more  disasters with painting her too.

Thanks, the little puppy is a Littlest Pet shop bull terrier, one of the older realeases of the 2nd gen of the toys, I have all the little bull terriers they've released in that collection so far. I tracked them all but one down on the intl ebay since only one of the five was released in the UK.

edited: a link to the pic of the Littlest Pet Shop ones and the little salt & pepper set I got given by my best friend teaboy for christmas.

Also a few of the ponies in my collection, last count (about 2years ago I had 200 then, I dread to think how many there are now since they're not all with me)

I really do love making them, they're a nice way of unwinding after work. It's not much but it's something I can do to raise some money. I have a couple more ideas for future ponies that could go the way of auctions too. I have a box full of pony bait to customise.

Little update on the uni: Her price at the moment is £10 and she could be off to Austrailia!

So it raised £20! Which is more than I expected, the person who won is a friend of mine which is nice so I know where the uni is off to. Since they're local I'm going to see if it's okay to donate the £5 that would have been postage along with the rest and go drop it off in person.

The next two will be up this weekend I hope...

An Ood and a Weevil. Just need bits of painting finishing off and sealing. Day off tomorrow so hopefully that'll give me some time.

Not even started on my next project yet, grr work getting in the way.  Roll Eyes
